つぶらな瞳がキュートなセセリチョウです。

今、盛んにコスモスや、まだ頑張っているガーベラの花々の間を飛び回っています。

蝶とか昆虫の類は表情がないので、どうしても昆虫図鑑の写真になりがち。

主役に表情がない分、背景や脇役で表情を補ってやる必要があります。

そこで便利なテクニックが多重露光です。

複数枚の写真を１枚に重ねて撮影する方法です。

まず、主役となるセセリチョウの写真を撮っておいて、それに重ねるように次の写真を撮ります。

この写真ではコスモスの花を前暈けにして重ねました。

カメラによっては、２枚目以降の重なり具合をモニターで確認しながら、多重露光できるようです。

残念ながら、私のカメラには多重露光機能そのものがないので、オフラインで重ねています。

重なり具合を目で確認しながら撮ることはできないので、頭の中で合成しながら撮ることになりますが、オフラインでゆっくり合成できるので、自由度は高くなります。

It is now actively flying among the cosmos and the gerbera flowers that are still doing their best.

Butterflies and other insects lack expression, so they tend to look like pictures from an insect book.

Because the main subject lacks expression, it is necessary to compensate for the lack of expression by using a background or supporting characters.

This is where multiple exposure comes in handy.

This is a method of taking multiple photos superimposed on a single photo.

First, take a picture of the main subject, the wagtail, and then take the next picture on top of it.

In this photo, the cosmos flowers are superimposed in the foreground.

Some cameras seem to allow multiple exposures while checking the overlap of the second and subsequent photos on the monitor.

Unfortunately, my camera does not have the multiple exposure function itself, so I layered the images offline.

Since I cannot take pictures while checking the overlap with my eyes, I have to take pictures while compositing in my mind, but since I can compose slowly offline, I have more freedom.
