アヤメの花が咲きました。黄色と青紫のコントラストが特徴の花です。アヤメ、カキツバタ、花菖蒲とよく似た植物で、どれがどれなのかよく間違えます。陸地に咲くのがアヤメ、水際がカキツバタ、中間が花菖蒲なのだそうですが、花菖蒲の花は黄色が基本です。
The iris flower has bloomed. These flowers are characterized by the contrast of yellow and blue-violet. Iris, Kakitsubata, and Hanashobu(Japanese iris) are all very similar plants, and we often get confused about which is which. Iris on land, Kakitsubata near water, and Hanashobu in between, but the basic color of Hanashoubu is yellow.
