「薔薇」

　薔薇が一輪きれいに咲いていたので記念に一枚。背景が少々うるさいので焼き込んでみました。今日は最高気温が３０℃になるとの予報。これを撮影しているときも容赦なく強い日差しが差し込んできました。この時期、藪近くでじっとしているマクロカメラマンは、虫にとって格好の獲物、暑くても肌の露出は最小限に留めなければなりません。これからしばらくはマクロ撮影には苦難な季節が続きます。

    　A rose was blooming beautifully, so I took a picture to memorialize it. The background was a little noisy, so I burned it in. The forecast for today is for a high of 30 degrees Celsius. Even as I was taking this picture, the strong sunlight was relentlessly streaming in. At this time of the year, macro photographers lingering near the bushes are easy prey for insects, so even though it is hot, I have to keep my skin exposure to a minimum. It will be a difficult season for macro photography for some time to come.
