「真実を求めて」

- Searching for the Truth -

　アジサイの季節ですね。アジサイも例年より２週間程早く咲いているようです。梅雨入りも早かったですからね。さて、アジサイの本当の花はどこに咲くかご存知ですか？ガクアジサイの場合は真ん中のつぶつぶのあるところ。このつぶつぶ一つ一つが蕾でそこに花が咲きます。周りの花の様に見えるところは、装飾花と呼ばれるガク（萼）にあたる部分です。

　さて、そのアジサイの花に木漏れ日がこぼれていたのを利用、背景に円ボケを配置して木漏れ日の差し込みをイメージして画をまとめてみました。

    　It's the season of hydrangeas. It seems that the hydrangeas are blooming about two weeks earlier than usual. The rainy season started earlier than usual, too. Now, do you know where the real flowers of hydrangeas bloom? In the case of Hydrangea, it is in the middle of the plant where there is a bump. Each of these bumps is a bud, and the flower blooms there. The surrounding parts that look like flowers are the sepals, which are called ornamental flowers.

　I took advantage of the sunlight spilling over the hydrangea flowers and placed a circular bokeh in the background to create an image of the sunlight filtering through the trees.
