「習作ーコスモス」

- A study of a cosmos flower -

 　今日は阿智村に来ています。バイト先の庭にコスモスが一輪咲いていたので休憩時間に一枚。特別な意図がない限り、背景に白い部分は入れません。白は明るい色なのでとうしても目立ちます。ぱっと写真を見たときに視線は主役に行ってほしいのですが、白い部分があるとそちらに見る人の視線を奪われてしまします。フレーミング時に背景に白い部分がないかどうか、あればそれを外す工夫をしないといけません。

    I'm in Achi village today. I saw a single cosmos blooming in the garden of my part-time workplace, so I took a picture during my break. I don't use white in the background unless I have a special intention. White is a bright color, so even if I do, it stands out. I want the viewer's eye to go to the main subject when they look at the photo, but if there are white areas, the viewer's eye will be drawn to them. When framing a photo, you need to make sure that there are no white areas in the background, and if there are, you need to find a way to remove them.
