逆光に輝いているコスモスの花を探して一枚。

一番奥にある花びらに、最も日が当たっていたのでこれを主題にすることに。

この花びらを大地に見立て、雲間から日が差し込んでいるイメージでまとめてみました。

花の形が歪んでいたので、手前の花びらによる暈けがちょうど良いところに来ました。

形の整った花より、歪んでいたり、二、三枚花びらが取れているような個体の方が、マクロ的には面白い画が撮れます。

背景を黒く落とすためにマイナス補正とし、RAW現像時にコントラストを上げています。

I took this shot looking for a cosmos flower shining in the backlight.

The petal at the far end had the most sunlight, so I decided to use it as my subject.

Using this petal as the earth, I tried to create the image of the sun shining through the clouds.

Since the shape of the flower was distorted, the petals in the foreground were in the right place.

Rather than a flower with a well-defined shape, a distorted flower with two or three petals missing is more interesting from a macro point of view.

I used a negative correction to blacken the background and increased the contrast during RAW development.
