「閃光」

　 蜘蛛の巣の季節になりました。通常は木陰等に目立たぬように張られているので目にすることはない蜘蛛の巣ですが、木漏れ日等が当たるとキラキラと光るので見つけることができます。蜘蛛の糸は回折現象を起こすらしく、日の光が当たると七色に変化します。ピントがあっているところは白い線になりますが、ピントが外れている部分に色が出て、かつ、線条にボケるので独特の意匠が得られます。よく「風でブレているのですか？」と聞かれますが、ボケた結果です。

    　 It is now the season for spider webs. Normally, we don't see spider webs because they are placed inconspicuously in the shade of trees, but when the sunlight shines through the trees, we can find them because they glitter. The spider's web seems to diffract, changing into seven different colors when the sunlight hits it. The in-focus areas are white lines, but the out-of-focus areas are colored and blurred into stripes, creating a unique design. I am often asked, "Is it blurred by the wind? This is the result of blurring.
