「挑戦」

　花びらの一枚が反り返って面白い形をしていたので、それを主題にまとめてみました。ピントはその花びらの手前のエッジと先端に合わせました。人は先の尖ったものに注意を奪われる傾向があり、そこが暈けているとフラストレーションを感じるようです。先端だけでは主題として弱く感じたので少し右へ回り込んでエッジにもピントが合うように調整しました。

    　One of the petals was warped and had an interesting shape, so I used that as my subject. I focused on the foreground edge and tip of the petal. We tend to pay more attention to pointed objects and feel frustrated when they are out of focus. I felt that the tip of the petal was not enough of a subject, so I turned a little to the right and adjusted the focus so that the edge was also in focus.
