「フェスティバル」

　４月に蒔いた向日葵が漸く咲きました。７月の開花を期待して４月に蒔いたのですが外れました。単純に種を蒔いてから何ヶ月後に咲くというものでもないらしいです。

　向日葵の花の中央は種がぎっしり詰まっていますが、まだ、成熟前で少し青みを帯びた色をしています。そこに黄色の花粉がついてコントラストが綺麗でした。その花粉を円暈けに使って夜空に浮かぶバルーンに見立て、お祭りの雰囲気を演出してみました。

    The sunflower that I sowed in April finally bloomed, expecting to bloom in July, but it was not the case. It seems that it is not possible to simply sow the seeds and expect them to bloom some months later.

　The center of the sunflower is packed with seeds, but they are not mature yet and have a slightly bluish color. The contrast of the yellow pollen on the seeds was beautiful. I used the pollen as a circular vertigo to make it look like a balloon floating in the night sky, creating a festive atmosphere.
