ひまわりの葉っぱの上にショウリョウバッタのつがいがいたので、これを主題にまとめてみました。こういう生き物を撮るときは近づかなくても最高倍率が得られる180mmマクロが有利です。逆光側から撮っているのでバッタが影にならないように露出はプラスに補正しています。ひまわりの葉を前暈けに入れておとぎの国らしい雰囲気を演出してみました。これから未知なる世界へ踏み出そうする動きを意識して、主題のバッタは黄金螺旋の始点付近に配置しました。
I found a mating pair of grasshoppers on a sunflower leaf, so I focused on them. When photographing such creatures, the 180mm macro lens is advantageous because it provides the highest magnification without getting too close. Since I was shooting from the backlit side, the exposure was positively compensated so that the grasshoppers would not be in shadow. I added sunflower leaves to the foreground to produce a fairy-tale atmosphere. I placed the grasshopper, the subject of the picture, near the beginning of the golden spiral to show the movement of the grasshopper about to step out into the unknown world.
