「Last Shot」

    ムラサキツユクサもそろそろお終いのようです。花の数がめっきり少なくなりました。今日の天気は曇り空。光が少なかったので90mmマクロを持ち出しました。180mmは重いこと、そして開放のF値が90mmと比べてやや暗い3.5なのが欠点です。ムラサキツユクサは縦長に並んだ2つの葉の中間に花が咲くので、その葉を斜めに配置して暈すことで画の動きを出しました。花は葉や茎に比べて色が薄いので、光が全体に周っている時は露出をマイナスに補正して撮ると花だけが浮かび上がります。

    Purple clover seems to be coming to an end. There are fewer and fewer flowers now. Today's weather was cloudy. The disadvantages of the 180mm lens are that it is heavier and its maximum aperture is 3.5, which is a little darker than the 90mm lens. The flower of the purple clover blooms in the middle of the two vertically aligned leaves, so I placed the leaves diagonally and dimmed them to create movement in the image. Flowers are lighter in color than leaves and stems, so when the light covers the entire image, I compensated for the negative exposure to bring out only the flowers.
