「天国？地獄？」

- Hell or Heaven -

　これが最期のヒマワリの蕾になりそうです。この時期黄色の花びらは内側を向いていて、内にある未成熟の種を守っているかのようです。その様子は何かへの扉のようにも見えます。針のような花びらの先端すべてにピントを合わせるため、ヒマワリとカメラを平行に持っていくのがポイントです。ヒマワリは背が高いのでちょっと苦労しました。

    This will be the last of the sunflower buds. At this stage, the yellow petals are facing inward, as if they are protecting the immature seeds inside. They look like a doorway to something else. It is important to keep the camera parallel to the sunflower so that all the tips of the needle-like petals are in focus. It was a bit of a challenge for me because sunflowers are so tall.
