「青のスパイラル」
- spiral of blue -
It was cloudy this morning. It started to rain before noon. There was not much light, so I took out my 90mm macro lens, which has a bright f/2.8 aperture, without an extension tube. There was a morning glory flower with an interesting shape, so I took a shot from the front, slightly to the left. The petals seemed to have split because they were disturbed by the dense foliage around it. The petals were in a spiral shape. I aimed for a pull so that the entire spiral would fit in the frame, and brought the focus to the back of the flower. I focused on the back of the flower. There was a little too much light at the end of the petals, so the spiral shape came into focus. The stamens were not so beautiful, so I focused on the front of the stamens.
