日頃の運動不足の解消を兼ねて歩いて一時間弱にある緑地公園に行ってきました。そこは年中花が植えられており、また、温室もあってマクロの被写体に事欠かない場所です。
マクロ撮影のコツのひとつに「とにかくカメラを向ける」ということがあります。マクロレンズは肉眼では見逃してしまいそうな小さなものを撮し出すため、見た目とファインダーの中は大きく異ることが多いです。温室に植えてあったコルジリネという観葉植物にカメラを向けた途端ファインダーに飛び込んできたのがこの写真です。深い赤色の葉に蛍光色の赤の縦縞が特徴の植物ですが、その葉を横から撮ったものです。あいにく日が陰ってしまったので蛍光が今ひとつですが、また、次回挑戦してみたいモチーフです。

One of the tips for macro photography is to "point the camera anyway". Since macro lenses capture small objects that are likely to be overlooked by the naked eye, there are often large differences between the appearance and the viewfinder. As soon as I pointed the camera at the foliage plant called Cordilline that was planted in the greenhouse, this picture jumped into my viewfinder. The plant is characterized by deep red leaves and vertical stripes of fluorescent red. This picture was taken from the side of the leaf. Unfortunately, the sun is dark, so the fluorescence is not good enough, but it is a motif that I would like to try again next time.
