今日改めて数えてみたら家の庭には５種類のスイセンが咲いていました。

今日のお題はそのうちのひとつ。花の外花弁も中央の筒状の花弁もすべて黄色。

一つの茎に大柄の花が一輪だけ咲きます。中央の花弁が長く、所謂、ラッパスイセンと呼ばれるものと思われます。

外の花弁を横から見る形で暈し、黄色の雲の中から中央の花弁が起ち上がる様子を画にしてみました。その背後に隣に咲いていたニホンスイセンの花を入れてその白をアクセントにしました。

I counted again today and found five different kinds of daffodils blooming in our garden.

Today's subject is one of them. The outer petals of the flower and the tubular petals in the center are all yellow.

Only one large flower blooms on a single stem. The central petal is long and is thought to be what is called a trumpet daffodil.

I tried to create an image in which the outer petals are seen from the side, and the central petal rises up from the yellow cloud. Behind the petals, I added a daffodil blooming next to them, accentuating their white color.
