ユリの花が咲きました。

ユリというと６月の花というイメージが強いのですが、このユリは毎年８月に花を付けます。

調べてみるとタカサゴユリという台湾原産のユリのようで、園芸種としてイギリス経由で日本に来たとか。

花期は７～９月ということなので８月に咲くのは当たり前のようです。

今日のお題はこのユリの白い花です。

木漏れ日を利用して日が差している部分を主題に一枚まとめてみました。

Lilies have bloomed.

When we think of lilies, we often think of June flowers, but this lily blooms in August every year.

I found out that it is a Takasago lily, which is native to Taiwan and came to Japan via England as a horticultural species.

The flowering season is from July to September, so it is natural that it blooms in August.

Today's subject is the white flowers of this lily.

I put together a piece with the subject in the area where the sun is shining through the trees.
