柔らかな日差しが

穏やかな秋らしい一日を演出してくれました

こういう日はちょっとホッとしますね

まだまだ頑張って咲いているコスモス

花びらの一枚に強く日差しがあたっている花を

逆光から撮った一枚

The soft sunshine,

it made for a mild autumn day.

It's kind of a relief on days like this.

「孤立」

スズランのまだ緑が残る葉の間に

ハナミズキの赤い枯れ葉が落ちていました

緑と赤のコントラストに惹かれて

一枚撮ってみました

Among the still green leaves of the lily of the valley, 

the red withered leaf of the dogwood was falling.

The contrast of the green and red made me to take this picture.

「ささやき」

スギナに朝露がびっしり

日が当たると瞬く間に消えてしまう

急いでシャッターを切りました

急いでいたので絞りがf3,5になっていることに気が付かないでいた

暈けがまん丸でなく多角形になっている

これも一興ということで

前日180mmマクロレンズを使った影響

（このレンズは開放でf3,5）

レンズを交換してもf値はそのまま引き継がれるのを忘れてました

The horsetail is covered with morning dew.

It disappears in the blink of an eye when the sun hits it.

I hurriedly released the shutter.

I was in such a hurry that I didn't notice that the aperture was set to f/3,5.

The vertigo is not round, but polygonal.

I thought this was just for fun.

The effect of using a 180mm macro lens the day before

(This lens has a maximum aperture of f/3,5)

I forgot that the f-number is inherited even if the lens is changed.

「習作ーコスモス」

コスモスの花もそろそろ終わりでしょうか？

小振りの花が多くなってきました。

急な気温変化も一段落して今週は秋らしい日が続くみたい。

強い日差しを受けている個体を逆光側から撮った一枚。

Are the cosmos flowers coming to an end?

Smaller flowers are becoming more common.

The sudden change in temperature has slowed down, and it looks like autumn-like days will continue this week.

「イリュージョン」

- illusion -

今日のように昨夜まで降っていた雨が夜明け前には上がり、朝方晴れ上がったときは絶好のマクロ撮影日和です。

放射冷却によって気温が急激にさがるため、空気中にある大量の水分が凝結して霧が発生しやすくなります。

この霧が物に付着すると露になり細かな水玉がびっしりでき特異な造形を見せてくれます。

観葉植物の葉についた水玉を順光側から撮った一枚。

水玉を順光側から撮るとこのような虹暈けが現れます。

空にかかる虹と同じ原理です。

日が差して気温が上がると水玉はすぐに蒸発してなくなってしまうので、時間との勝負。

When it rains until last night and clears up in the morning, it's a perfect day for macro photography.

As the temperature drops rapidly due to radiative cooling, a large amount of moisture in the air condenses and fog is easily generated.

When this mist adheres to an object, it becomes dewy and forms fine water beads that form a peculiar form.

A shot of polka dots on the leaves of a houseplant, taken from the forward-lit side.

This rainbow vertigo appears when the polka dots are photographed from the forward-light side.

It is the same principle as the rainbow in the sky.

When the sun shines and the temperature rises, the polka dots will quickly evaporate and disappear, so it's a race against time.

「秋雨」

今日は久しぶりの雨、一日雨の予報です

雨の日は実は普段とは異なる風情が見られので写真日和です

が、雨対策はちょっと面倒ですね

以前紹介しましたが簡易な雨対策が有効です

水を通さない素材であればなんでもOK

カメラとレンズにそれらを覆い隠せるくらいのシートをかぶせ、そのシートの端をレンズフードにクリップ等で（上下２～３箇所）止めるだけで完成

土砂降りには使えませんが、小雨程度（一時間の降雨量が２～３mm程度まで）なら十分耐えられます

It's raining today for the first time in a while, and it's forecast to rain all day!

A rainy day is actually a good day for photography because you can see a different scene than usual.

However, it is a little troublesome to prepare for rain.

As I have mentioned before, simple rain protection is effective.

Any material that is impermeable to water will do.

Just cover the camera and lens with a sheet large enough to cover them, then clip the edges of the sheet to the lens hood (two or three places on the top and bottom), and you're done!

It will not work in a downpour, but it can withstand light rain (up to 2-3mm of rain per hour).

ここのところの冷え込みでハナミズキの葉がすっかり色付きました。

今年は、大きな台風が上陸しなかったことに加え、急激に冷え込んだため紅葉が綺麗な年になるそうです。

色づいたハナミズキの葉を斜光気味の逆光から狙った一枚。

赤を抑えるために色温度は下げました。

With the recent cold weather, the leaves of the dogwood trees have completely turned color.

This year, there were no major typhoons and the weather cooled down rapidly,

It is said that this year will be a year of beautiful autumn colors.

This is a backlit shot of the colored dogwood leaves.

I lowered the color temperature to reduce the red.
