今日のお題は観葉植物です。

ユッカより緑の濃く、細長い葉をしています。

それを先端のほうから覗き込んで撮った一枚。

Today's subject is houseplants.

It has long, narrow leaves that are darker green than yucca.

This is a shot of it peeking out from the tip.

”動き”のある写真についての考察～その１２～

最後に取り上げる視線の動きを誘導する要素は（写真の）フレームです。

横長のフレームでは、視線は左右に誘導されます。

縦長では上下になります。

縦横の比率が大きいほど、つまり、細長いフレームほど誘導する力が強くなります。

他の要素と比べると誘導する力は弱いですが、他の要素と誘導の方向が異なる（例えば、横長のフレームに縦線が多い被写体）場合は、視線の動きに競合が発生、それが見る人の違和感に通じます。

同じであれば動きを強調しあい落ち着きます。

どちらがいいという問題ではありませんが、表現意図に合わせて選ぶ必要はあります。

今日もお題は薔薇にしました。

薄曇りの空からの柔らかい光を利用して、薔薇の花の優雅さを表現してみました。

優しい印象を大切にハイキーな仕上げに。

Today's subject was again roses.

I tried to express the elegance of the rose flower by using the soft light from the lightly cloudy sky.

I used a high-key finish, valuing the gentle impression.

三連休の三日目もいい天気になりました。

コントラストの強い状況を利用してガーベラの赤い花を横から。

熱い赤を表現してみました。

The third day of the three-day weekend was another beautiful day.

Taking advantage of the high contrast situation, the red flowers of the gerbera were photographed from the side.

I tried to express the hot red color.

”動き”のある写真についての考察～その１１～

視線の動きを誘導する要素に”螺旋形”があります。

オウムガイの断面とかひまわりの種の並びなど螺旋を描くものは自然界の中に結構あります。

写真的には螺旋そのものより、螺旋状に並んでいるもののほうが被写体としては利用しやすいでしょう。

視線は螺旋の中心から外へ、外から中心へと両方に動くように思われます。

螺旋なので画の中をぐるぐると回すことができ、視線を大きく長く動かすことができます。

螺旋の中心をフレームの黄金比のポイントに置くとより美しく見えるようです。

今日もお題は薔薇の花です。

今日は日差しが直接花に当たらない時間帯を選んで撮影。

その柔らかな光を使い、少しハイキーに仕上げて薔薇のかぐわしい香りを表現してみました。

Today's subject is again roses.

I chose a time of day when the sun was not shining directly on the flowers.

I used the soft light and a slightly high-key finish to express the fragrance of the roses.

今日のお題も薔薇の花です。

花びらの重なり具合により日が透けて見える部分を利用して画造りしてみました。

天気がよく日差しが強いときは透けた光をうまく使うことがお薦め。

つまり逆光で撮るということ。

順光で撮ると花びら同士が影を作り、この影が意外と邪魔になり花を汚くしてしまいます。

Today's subject is also a rose.

I tried to create an image by using the part of the flower where the sun shines through due to the overlapping of the petals.

When the weather is fine and the sun is strong, it is recommended to make good use of the sunlight.

In other words, take pictures with backlight.

If you shoot with forward light, the petals will cast shadows on each other, and these shadows can be unexpectedly distracting and make the flower look dirty.

今日はまさに五月晴れ、気持ちの良い天気になりました。

本日のお題は薔薇。

魅力ある花ですが、その特徴が強すぎてどうしても薔薇を撮りました、という感じのイメージになってしまいます。

今回もそこから脱し切れてませんね^^;

Today is truly a May day, and the weather is pleasant.

The subject of today's photo is roses.

It is a fascinating flower, but its characteristics are so strong that the image is always that I took a picture of a rose.

今日は撮影を始めるとすぐに雨が降ってきました。

降り出すとすぐ雨脚は強くなり撮影の続行は断念。

ここ数日雨が多く、梅雨のような状態です。

大型連休後半は天気は良さそうですが。

さて、お題はチューリップの葉です。

花はすっかり終わり。

葉もところどころ枯れ始めました。

そろそろ球根を掘り出して来年に備える時期です。

As soon as I started shooting today, it began to rain.

No sooner had it started raining than the rain became heavier and I gave up on continuing with the shoot.

It has been raining a lot for the last few days, just like the rainy season.

The weather looks good for the second half of the big holiday weekend, though.

Now, the today's subject is tulip leaves.

The flowers are completely over.

The leaves have started to wither in some places.

It is time to dig out the bulbs and prepare for next year.
