好きな花のひとつであるガーベラが今日のお題です。

花を横から狙い、赤を強調するために露出はマイナス補正としました。

ピントは花びらの先端に合わせ、花全体は暈して波の飛沫をイメージしてみました。

Gerbera, one of my favorite flowers, is today's subject.

I aimed at the flower from the side and used a negative exposure compensation to emphasize the red color.

I focused on the tips of the petals, and the entire flower was averted to create the image of splashing waves.

- A lamp in the forest -

Color temperature = 3750K

ユリズイセンの萎びてしまった蕊の形が面白い。

うまい具合に明るい丸暈けが手前にあったので、蕊をランプに見立てて一枚まとめてみました。

ブレないようにシャッタスピードは基本の1/1000秒となるようにISO感度を調整。

露出補正はなしですが、森の中の雰囲気を出すためにRAW現像時に少しアンダーにしました。

The shape of the wilted stamens of the lily-of-the-valley is interesting.

Since there was a nice bright circle in the foreground, I combined the two by using the stamens as a lamp.

I adjusted the ISO sensitivity so that the shutter speed was the basic 1/1000 sec. to avoid blurring.

No exposure compensation was used, but I slightly underexposed the image during RAW development to bring out the atmosphere of the forest.

- Pretty fragrant part -

柔らかい曲線に日差しがあたって輝いていたので、薔薇の蕾のキュートな部分をクローズアップしてみました。

春薔薇は気温が高いため傷みが早く、こういう美しい曲線が撮れるチャンスはわずかです。

春薔薇の特徴の香りは写真には写りませんが、そういう空気感も表現したいですね。

The soft curve was shining in the sunlight, so I took a close-up of the cute part of the rosebud.

Spring roses are damaged quickly due to high temperatures, so there are only a few chances to capture such beautiful curves.

The characteristic fragrance of spring roses is not captured in the photo, but I would like to express that kind of atmosphere as well.

- Chaotic Sea 　-

Color temperature = 4280K

朝からシトシトと雨が降る天気だったのでレインボースティックで遊んでみました。

カメラは三脚に固定、右手でシャッターボタン、左手にレインボースティックを持ち、角度や形を調整しながらの撮影です。

ピントはスティックを前後させて合わせます。

光の当たり具合、強度で表情を様々に変えるため、おそらく二度と同じイメージは作れないでしょう。

The weather was drizzly and rainy in the morning, so I played with the Rainbow Stick.

The camera is mounted on a tripod, with the shutter button in the right hand and the Rainbow Stick in the left, while adjusting the angle and shape.

The focus is adjusted by moving the stick back and forth.

You will probably never be able to create the same image twice, as it changes its expression in various ways depending on how the light hits it and its intensity.

ギボウシの葉もあちこちよじれていて面白い被写体です。

葉の模様を活かしながら異次元へ続く道を表現してみました。

The leaves of the gibboushi are twisted here and there, making it an interesting subject.

I tried to express a path leading to another dimension while taking advantage of the patterns of the leaves.

- Moon and stripes -

グラジオラスの葉の緑が強い日差しを透かして綺麗だったので一枚まとめてみました。

ゴミか何かついていたのでしょうか？

丸暈けがアクセントになりました。

輝く緑を表現したく露出はプラスに補正です。

The green of the gladiolus leaves was beautiful through the strong sunlight, so I put it all together.

Was there garbage or something?

The round hair serves as an accent.

The exposure is adjusted positively to express the shining green.

今日は岐阜の薔薇園で江口眞一先生の撮影会に参加してきました。

時折雲が日差しを遮るくらいでピーカンの天気。

薔薇を撮るには日差しが強すぎて不向きです。

こういう時は日傘の出番です。

左手で日傘を持ち、被写体に差し掛け影にします。

カメラは一脚に据えて右手で支え、ピントは体を前後させて合わせます。

これは被写体を部分的に影にして撮った一枚。

Today I participated in a photo session with Mr. Shinichi Eguchi at the Rose Garden in Gifu.

The weather was fine, with occasional clouds blocking out the sunlight.

The sun was too strong for photographing roses.

This is the time to use a parasol.

Holding the parasol in my left hand, I put it over the subject to cast a shadow.

The camera is held on a monopod and supported by the right hand, and the focus is adjusted by moving the body back and forth.

This is a shot taken with the subject partially in shadow.
