来週梅雨入りとは思えないスッキリとした青空が広がりました。

大きくなったひまわりの葉が日差しに輝いていたのを真横から一枚。

初夏の清々しいそよ風を表現してみました。

The sky was clear and blue, which was hard to believe that the rainy season would begin next week.

This is a shot from right beside the sunflowers, which had grown large and their leaves were shining in the sunlight.

I tried to express the fresh breeze of early summer.

今日は朝から本降りの雨、外での撮影は断念しました。

予報によれば来週あたりに梅雨入りとか。

こういう天気が続きそうです。

困ったときのレンボースティック、じゃないけれど窓辺に三脚を据えて撮影開始です。

光が足りないところはLEDライトで補いましたが、スティックと一緒にライトも持たないといけなかったのでうまく調整できません。

ライトを固定するスタンドが欲しくなりました。

It has been raining since this morning, and I gave up taking pictures outside.

According to the forecast, the rainy season will begin around next week.

This kind of weather is likely to continue.

I set up a tripod on the window sill and started shooting.

I used an LED light to compensate for the lack of light, but I had to hold the light together with the stick, so I couldn't adjust it properly.

I wanted a stand to hold the light.

今日は薄曇りの天気。

光が全体にまわりコントラストが弱い状況を利用して発光しているような表現に挑戦してみました。

お題はアサガオです。

It was a lightly overcast day today.

I tried to create a luminous expression by taking advantage of the weak contrast of the light surrounding the entire image.

The subject was morning glory.

今日のお題はいつもの観葉植物（ユッカ）にしてみました。

植物の一番中央、数枚の葉がまとまって付いているところを真上から狙った一枚です。

日差しは写真の左上あたりから差していました。

葉が若いうちは葉の表面に産毛がたくさん生えていて、それに光が散乱すると発光しているかのように暈けてくれます。

Today's subject was the usual houseplant (yucca).

This is a shot taken from directly above the center of the plant, where several leaves are clustered together.

The sun was shining from the upper left corner of the photo.

When the leaves are young, they have a lot of hairs on their surface, and when the light is scattered by the hairs, it makes the plant look as if it is luminous.

好きな花のひとつであるガーベラが今日のお題です。

花を横から狙い、赤を強調するために露出はマイナス補正としました。

ピントは花びらの先端に合わせ、花全体は暈して波の飛沫をイメージしてみました。

Gerbera, one of my favorite flowers, is today's subject.

I aimed at the flower from the side and used a negative exposure compensation to emphasize the red color.

I focused on the tips of the petals, and the entire flower was averted to create the image of splashing waves.

- A lamp in the forest -

ユリズイセンの萎びてしまった蕊の形が面白い。

うまい具合に明るい丸暈けが手前にあったので、蕊をランプに見立てて一枚まとめてみました。

ブレないようにシャッタスピードは基本の1/1000秒となるようにISO感度を調整。

露出補正はなしですが、森の中の雰囲気を出すためにRAW現像時に少しアンダーにしました。

The shape of the wilted stamens of the lily-of-the-valley is interesting.

Since there was a nice bright circle in the foreground, I combined the two by using the stamens as a lamp.

I adjusted the ISO sensitivity so that the shutter speed was the basic 1/1000 sec. to avoid blurring.

No exposure compensation was used, but I slightly underexposed the image during RAW development to bring out the atmosphere of the forest.

- Pretty fragrant part -

柔らかい曲線に日差しがあたって輝いていたので、薔薇の蕾のキュートな部分をクローズアップしてみました。

春薔薇は気温が高いため傷みが早く、こういう美しい曲線が撮れるチャンスはわずかです。

春薔薇の特徴の香りは写真には写りませんが、そういう空気感も表現したいですね。

The soft curve was shining in the sunlight, so I took a close-up of the cute part of the rosebud.

Spring roses are damaged quickly due to high temperatures, so there are only a few chances to capture such beautiful curves.

The characteristic fragrance of spring roses is not captured in the photo, but I would like to express that kind of atmosphere as well.
