「待つのも仕事のうち」

は、尊敬する写真家、マイケル・フリーマンの言葉。

彼の著作、Photographer'sシリーズは一通り購読して研究しました。

今日は雲の多い日となり、雲間からの日差しを待つ撮影となりました。

日差しも強ければいい、というわけでもなく太陽が雲から顔を出す瞬間とか、逆に隠れる瞬間とかの方が良かったりします。

また、風に吹かれて偏光シートの角度が変わり、面白い発色が得られたり。

そういう偶然に出来上がる造形も楽しみの一つです。

is a quote by Michael Freeman, a photographer I respect.

I subscribed to his books, Photographer's Series, and researched them all.It was a cloudy day and I waited for the sun to shine through the clouds.

It's not always good to have strong sunshine, but it's better to have the moment when the sun comes out of the clouds or when it hides.

Also, the angle of the polarizing sheet changes as it is blown by the wind, resulting in interesting colors.

The accidental images that are created are also part of the fun.
