今日のお題はスイセンの花です。

早くから咲くニホンスイセンとは違い、ひとつの茎に大きな花が一輪だけ咲く園芸種です。

色はニホンスイセンと同じく周りが白で、中央が黄色。

黄色の部分にはひだがあるのも特徴です。

差し渡し１０cmくらいある大柄な花の一部を切り撮って画にしてみました。

Today's subject is the daffodil flower.

Unlike the early-blooming Japanese daffodil, this is a garden variety with only one large flower on a single stem.

The color is white around the periphery and yellow in the center, just like the Japanese daffodil.

The yellow part also has folds.

I took a picture of a part of the large flower, which is about 10 cm across.
