花を撮っている時の楽しみのひとつは、突然、蝶や蜂などの虫が訪問してくれることです。

当然ながら、予告なくファインダーの中に飛び込んでくるので、瞬時に、花撮りモードから虫撮りモードに切り替える必要があります。

まず、ピント。

これは必ず虫の目に合わせます。

相手もじっとはしてくれていないので、ピントリングを回しながらシャッターを切る感覚です。

シャッタースピードとか、露出とかは調整している余裕はないので、その時勝負。

次に、フレーミング。

虫が主役のフレーミングを調整していきますが、クロップ前提で少し広めに撮っておくのがコツです。

First, focus.

First, focus on the insect's eyes.

The insect will not stay still, so it is like releasing the shutter while turning the focus ring.

There is no time to adjust the shutter speed or exposure, so the moment is critical.

Next, framing.

We will adjust the framing with the insects as the main subject, but the trick is to take a slightly wider shot with the assumption of cropping.
