「キュートなひと」

- A cute lady -

　今日は今年に入ってちょうど折り返し点の１８３日めですね。この半年間一日も休むことなくブログを続けることが出来ました。何事も三日坊主が多い私的にはちょっと驚異です^^

　さて、今日は近くの緑地公園にある温室に咲いていたハナキリンというマダガスカル原産の花です。花心が黄色で花弁がピンクというちょっと派手な花。大きさは１cm弱くらい。黄色の花心がこの花の魅力です。小さな蕊が覗いていてカタツムリの赤ちゃんの様（ぜひ拡大して見てください）。他の花を前暈けに配置して黄色を強調しました。ピントを狙いの花心に合わせるのに苦労した作品です。

    Today is the 183rd day of this year, just around the turn of the year. I've been able to continue blogging for the past six months without taking a day off. It's a bit amazing for me, as I tend to get bored easily.

　Today, I'd like to introduce you to a flower from Madagascar called "Hanakirin" that was blooming in a greenhouse in a nearby green park. The core of the flower is yellow and the petals are pink, which is a bit gaudy. The size is less than 1cm. The yellow heart is the charm of this flower. The tiny stamens peek out like baby snails. I placed the other flowers in the foreground to emphasize the yellow color. I had a hard time getting the focus on the heart of the flower I wanted to capture.

「名残り」

- memory -

　朝、撮影をしているとまた雨が降ってきました。ひどい降りにはなりませんでしたが、念の為以前ご紹介した防滴カバー（ビニールのシートです^^;）を洗濯バサミ（^^;;)で取り付けて撮影続行です。傍から見るとちょっと頭がおかしい人に見えるかもしれません。

　ポツンと雨粒が落ちてきて小さな滴を残していきました。

    　In the morning, while I was taking pictures, it started to rain again. It didn't rain too hard, but just in case, I attached the splash-proof cover (a sheet of vinyl ^^;) that I introduced before with a washcloth (^^;) and continued shooting. From the side, I may look like a slightly crazy person.

　A few raindrops fell and left a small drop behind.

「緑と黄色のハーモニー」

- a harmony of yellow and green -

　黄色のダリアが咲き始めています。色変わりの花ならいいのですが、黄色一色ではマクロ的には単調になりがち。ダリアの葉っぱは表面に産毛のような細かい毛があって、久々の日差しを受けてそれが白く光ることに気が付きました。その葉っぱを暈けにすると面白い形になるので、それを活かして単調さをカバーしてみました。

    Yellow dahlias are starting to bloom. It's okay if the flowers change colors, but all yellow tends to be monotonous from a macro perspective. I noticed that the leaves of the dahlia have fine hairs on the surface, like laying hairs, which glow white in the sunlight after a while. When I used the leaf as a vertigo, it took on an interesting shape, so I tried to make use of it to cover the monotony.

「リフレッシュ」

- reflesh -

　５月に蒔いたヒマワリがようやく２０cm程になりました。まだ全体に若い緑色をしています。その緑が綺麗だったのでアップで迫ってみました。花が咲くのはまだ２ヶ月程先になるでしょう。

    　The sunflowers that I sowed in May have finally grown to about 20 cm. It's still young and green all over. The green was so beautiful that I decided to take a close-up shot. It will probably be a couple of months before they bloom.

「薫り」

- aroma of dignity -

　真っ白なグラジオラスが咲きました。曇り空の柔らかな光の中、薄くでもシャープな花びらには高貴な気品が感じられます。また、花心に向かってほんのりと色づいていくグラーデーションも綺麗です。その２つの特徴を活かすべく色々とアングルを探り出した答えがこれ。特に、花びらの薄さを表現するのに苦労させられました。

    　The pure white gladiolus has bloomed. In the soft light of the cloudy sky, the thin but sharp petals have a noble elegance. The gradation of color toward the center of the flower is also beautiful. I searched for various angles to take advantage of these two characteristics, and this is the result. In particular, I had a hard time expressing the thinness of the petals.

「Wave」

　この観葉植物は中心から笹やススキのような細く長い葉が四方に出ています。葉の色は緑ではなく赤茶ですが、葉の表面に細かな毛が生えているのか、横から見ると粉を噴いたように白く見えます。全体が赤いのでそれを緩和する方向にオートホワイトバランスが働いて、白→青になり白く見える葉の表面が暈けて青白く発光しているかのように映るようです。なんにしても面白いモチーフです。

    　This ornamental plant has long, thin, bamboo or silver grass-like leaves coming out from the center in all directions. The color of the leaves is reddish brown, not green, but the surface of the leaves is covered with fine hairs, and when viewed from the side, the leaves look white, as if they have been sprayed with powder. Since the whole image is red, the auto white balance works to alleviate the effect, and the surface of the white leaf becomes blue instead of white, making it look pale and luminous. Whatever the reason, it is an interesting motif.

「別れの日」

- on the day of parting -

　紫陽花もそろそろ見納め。紫陽花には、手毬咲きと呼ばれる装飾花が大きく丸い形になるアジサイと、装飾花が花の周りにだけあるガクアジサイの大きく二種類ある。手毬咲きのアジサイは全体が大きいだけにマクロ的には画にするのが難しい。この画は手毬咲きのアジサイの装飾花のひとつが間から覗いているのを見つけて撮ったもの。思い切ってフレームの縁に寄せることで惜別の雰囲気を出してみました。

　It is almost time to see the last of the hydrangeas. There are two main types of hydrangea: Temari, which has large round decorative flowers, and Gaku hydrangea, which has decorative flowers only around the flower. Temari-blooming hydrangeas are difficult to photograph macroscopically because they are so large. This picture was taken when I found one of the decorative flowers of the Temari hydrangea peeking out from between the flowers. I tried to bring it to the edge of the frame to create an atmosphere of regret.
