「宇宙旅行」

    今日は久々に180mmマクロを持ち出して、ひまわりの葉の間に漂っていた蜘蛛の糸を狙ってみました。180mmレンズの最短撮影距離での撮影倍率は90mmと同じです。被写体から離れても90mmほど視野が広がらず大きな暈けを楽しむことができるため、虫や鳥など近づくと逃げてしまう被写体や、物理的に近づけない被写体を捉えるのに向いています。もちろん、近づいての最大倍率での撮影もできますが、重いのが難点です（90mmの倍くらいある）。

    Today, I took out my 180mm macro lens for the first time in a while and tried to capture a spider thread floating among the sunflower leaves. 180mm lens has the same magnification as 90mm at the minimum focus distance. The 180mm lens has the same magnification at the minimum focus distance as the 90mm lens, but the field of view is not as wide as with the 90mm lens, allowing you to enjoy a large amount of vertigo when you move away from your subject. Of course, it is also possible to get close and shoot at maximum magnification, but the drawback is that it is heavy (about twice as heavy as the 90mm).

「地平」

　アサガオの優美な曲線を表現してみたくて挑戦してみました。曲線の膨らみ部分を暈かして地平が光っているような雰囲気を出してみました。

    I wanted to express the graceful curves of the morning glory, so I tried my hand at it. I made the bulge of the curve dizzy to create an atmosphere as if the horizon were shining.

「漂う」

- drifting -

    今日は雲ひとつない晴天になりました。こういう強い日差しがあるときはコントラスト差を利用して色々遊べます。庭に植えてある観葉植物には木漏れ日があたり、日差しがあるところとないところなどをフレーミングして幻想的なイメージを創ってみました。

    It was a cloudless, sunny day today. When there is strong sunlight like today, we can play around with the contrast difference. The sun shone through the trees on the plants in the garden, and I tried to create a fantastic image by framing the areas with and without sunlight.

「緑の翼」

　芙蓉の桃色の花をバックに、芙蓉の葉を逆光から撮りました。葉の緑の鮮やかさを出すために露出はプラスに補正、動きを出すために斜めの配置としました。ちょうどいいところに葉の棘の円暈けができました。

    I took this photo of a hibiscus leaf backlit against a background of peach-colored hibiscus flowers. I compensated for the positive exposure to bring out the vividness of the green of the leaves, and placed them at an angle to bring out the movement. I was able to get the circular vertigo of the leaf spines in just the right place.

「ブルース」

- blues -

  強い日差しが作る大きなコントラストを利用し、アサガオの花の優雅な曲線を活かして一枚まとめてみました。露出はマイナスに補正し、日が当たっているところを暈すことで発光しているように撮ることができます。背景は明るいところを避けると暗く落ちてくれます。

    I took advantage of the large contrast created by the strong sunlight to create a single image with the graceful curves of the morning glory flower. I compensated for the negative exposure and dimmed the sunlit area to make the photo look luminous. The background will fall darker if you avoid bright areas.

「火垂」

　暑い夏が戻ってきました。久々に朝から強い日差しが差し込みました。ヒマワリの葉は毛深いので逆光から撮ると暈けが発光しているように写ります。それを利用して撮った一枚です。

    The hot summer has returned. It's been a while since we've had strong sunshine in the morning. The leaves of the sunflower are very hairy, so when I took this picture from backlight, it looked like the sun was emitting light. I took advantage of this to take this picture.

「炎夏」

 　今日はお昼過ぎから晴れるとの予報だったので、日差しが出てくるのを待ってヒマワリを撮りました。偏見かもしれませんが、ヒマワリの花には強い夏の日差しが似合うように思います。青と黄色の強烈なコントラストを活かして、夏の強い日差しを表現してみました。

　It was forecast to be sunny after noon today, so I waited for the sun to come out and took some pictures of sunflowers. I may be biased, but I think the strong summer sunlight suits sunflowers. I took advantage of the strong contrast of blue and yellow to express the strong summer sunlight.
