「あこがれ」

　ガーベラの花の間に小さく紫色の花が咲いていました。カンパニュラ・アルペンブルーという園芸種の花に似ているのですが、シベの形が違うのとそもそも大きさが違います。カンパニュラ・アルペンブルーは２～３cmくらいの花を咲かせるようですが、これは１cmに満たない。引き続き花の名前は調べたいと思います。

　黄色が鮮烈なガーベラの中にあって、小さな青が印象的でしたので一枚。ガーベラの花の鮮烈さを和らげるために前ボケで重ねてみました。

「銀河鉄道」

　梅雨の晴れ間。草木の間にキラキラ光る糸が見えたらシャッターチャンスです。逆行側から光って見える角度を探りながら、背景がなるべく暗くなるような場所を見つけます。風で揺られると強く光ったり、光らなくなったりしますが、連写を繰り返して次第に構図を追い込んでいきます。ピントをどこに合わせるかがポイントです。ボケている部分に綺麗な色が現れるのでそのバランスをミながらピント位置を決めます。撮影後、連写した数十枚のなかから最もイメージに合う一枚を選んで現像します。蜘蛛の糸は直射日光下では強く光るので露出はマイナス補正したほうがうまくいくようです。

「時間旅行者」

　雨上がり、雲間から日が差す朝となりました。こういう日はマクロ撮影日和です。朝から休憩を挟んで２時間ほど撮影に没頭してしまいました。水滴は形のいいものは表面にピントをあわせ、綺麗な写り込みがあるときは写り込んでいる物にピントをあわせます。また、日差しを受けて光っている水滴はボカして円ボケに使います。順光側から狙うと虹ボケが得られます。ぼかして良し、ジャスピンも良し、です。

　さて、この一枚は、観葉植物の葉の上に残った水滴を撮ったものです。観葉植物の葉に日が当たるとやや輝くように光るのでそれをボカすとこの写真のように発光しているような造形を得ることができます。

 「緑の星」

　今日は朝から雨でしたが、例によって間隙を突いての撮影です。赤いガーベラを太陽に水滴に写り込んだ緑を地球に見立てて。物理的にはこんなに太陽の近くにあったら、全てが焼き尽くされて蒸発してしまいますが。。。緑豊かなこの惑星を大切にしたいですね。

　白いカーネーションだと思うのですが、中央が緑っぽく、花弁の外に向かって白くなっていました。そのグラデーションが綺麗なのでそれを主題に一枚まとめてみました。今夜は皆既月食だそうですが、今空はべったり薄雲が張り付いていてこのままでは見られそうにないです。

　サザンカの若葉が梅雨の晴れ間の日差しを受けて初々しい緑を輝かせていたので一枚撮ってみました。サザンカの葉に特有の棘もまだ未成熟で輝きが今ひとつですが、その柔らかさを活かして画作りしてみたつもり。

　先日ランと書いた花は、和名ユリズイセン、アリストロメリアという南米原産の花でした。英名はlily of the Incas（インカのユリ）だそうです。花の色は色々あるようで、庭に咲いているのは赤と紫です。先日載せたのは紫の方。黄色にヒョウ柄の斑点があるのが特徴で、これは虫を誘うためのものだそうです。そのヒョウ柄の部分をぼかして外へ広がる希望を表現してみました。

「シミュラクラ現象」

　以前、マスキングテープを使った雨対策のカバーを紹介しました。マスキングテープが意外と水に弱く、すぐ剥がれてしまうことが判明。望遠系のレンズであればダブルクリップ等でフードに止める手があります（洗濯バサミの方が薄いシートをしっかり止めることができますが、ちょっと格好悪いです^^;）。しかし、広角系レンズでは”ケラレ”が発生するのでこの手が使えません。

　そこで、マスキングテープによる方法を色々試してみました。一番うまく行ったのは、両面テープがないときによく使う手ですが、マスキングテープを接着面を外側にして折り曲げ、レンズフードとシートの間に入れて貼る方法を試してみました。この方法だと接着面が直接雨にさらされないので水に弱いマスキングテープの弱点を補えるようです。これなら”ケラレ”が発生しない位置に貼れば広角レンズにも使えます。

　朝露に小さなスミレ草の花が写り込んでいました。植物が排出する体内の余分な水分が朝の冷え込みで葉の先端に滴となるのが朝露です。綺麗な球形をしているのが特徴です。滴の大きさが２～３mmほど、写り込んでいるスミレの花は５mmくらいの小さな世界です。

「純情」

　梅雨の時期、束の間の晴れ間を使って薔薇の花の上に残った雨滴を撮ってみました。久々にRAW現像の過程をまとめてみたいと思います。

左下隅にある円ボケが白トビしないように露出を抑えているので全体に色がくすんでいます。また、全体にハイキーで仕上げたいところ。部分的には、

①　花の傷みが目立つ

②　シャドウ部がうるさい（強すぎる）

③　背景の色味が悪い（→明るい色にしたい）

といったところ。

まず、全体のキーをハイキーにします。今回はかすみを加えることでハイキーにかつソフトな仕上がりにします。また、更にソフトさを加えるため明瞭度を下げます。花の小さな傷みを隠す意味もあります（＝このテクニックはポートレートに使えますよ。人の肌がなめらかになります）。

黒レベル、シャドウレベルを調整（＝明るくする）してシャドウ部のうるささを解消します。

全体の色味を調整（色温度を下げて青みを加えてます）。

一通り色味を調整した後、スポット修正ツールで花の傷みを修正します（先にスポット修正を行うと色を変更した際に修正した部分に違和感＝ノイズがでるときがあります）。

綺麗になりました。最後に左側の背景の色を全体のバランスを見ながら変えます（色かぶりを緑側に振りました）。

最後、トリミングで全体のバランスを整えて完成です。

　薔薇が一輪きれいに咲いていたので記念に一枚。背景が少々うるさいので焼き込んでみました。今日は最高気温が３０℃になるとの予報。これを撮影しているときも容赦なく強い日差しが差し込んできました。この時期、藪近くでじっとしているマクロカメラマンは、虫にとって格好の獲物、暑くても肌の露出は最小限に留めなければなりません。これからしばらくはマクロ撮影には苦難な季節が続きます。

　タンポポの種が風に吹かれてまさに旅立とうとしているところを捉えました。アクセントを兼ねてタンポポの綿毛を前後に配置し風を演出、周りの緑で初夏を表現してみました。

　道端に咲いていたヒナゲシの花を撮ってみました。ヒナゲシの花は独特のシベを持っています。このシベを主役にしてみました。シベはストレートに撮ると強すぎるので前ボケに花びらを置いてシベの半分ほどを覆い、全体もハイキーに仕上げてその強さを和らげてみました。それでも存在感のあるシベです。

　雑草かと思いますが、白い小さな花が咲きました。右のボケも同じ花です。花が開いている左方向の空間を空けるが構図的セオリーですが、あえて左側を詰めることで祈りに通じる苦悩を表現してみました。

 「目覚め」

　今日は朝から雨模様。室内で切り花を撮影しました。

　こちらがオリジナルのデータ。

現像のポイントは、

1. 全体にコントラストをプラス
2. 主題①がもう少し目立つように
3. 隅は焼き込んでメリハリを
4. 右下隅の暗い部分はなくす

の４つです。

まず、全体のコントラストをトーンカーブの左右を切り詰める手順で調整します。次に、隅の焼き込み、主題の引き立たせはそれぞれ円形フィルターを使って行います。

焼き込みは露光量を下げる（＝マイナスにする）ことで行います（図上）。図は右下だけですが、残り２隅（右上、左上）も同じように行います。主題を引き立たせるためには露光量を上げ（＝プラスに）、かすみの除去もプラス（＝かすみが消える）に、同時に明瞭度も上げるともっとメリハリがつきますが、ノイズが目立ったので今回はやめました（図中）。

最後に全体を少し明るく（＝露光量をプラス）、ボケを柔らかくし（＝かすみの除去をマイナス）、その分色も霞むので彩度をプラスに調整、右下の暗い部分をトリミングして完成です。

「太陽」

　ガーベラの２つの花を重ねて、奥の花びらにピントをあわせてみました。前の花のボケが全体を包み込むように輝いて太陽らしくなったかな？赤を強調するため背景は少し焼き込んでいます。

「閃光」

　 蜘蛛の巣の季節になりました。通常は木陰等に目立たぬように張られているので目にすることはない蜘蛛の巣ですが、木漏れ日等が当たるとキラキラと光るので見つけることができます。蜘蛛の糸は回折現象を起こすらしく、日の光が当たると七色に変化します。ピントがあっているところは白い線になりますが、ピントが外れている部分に色が出て、かつ、線条にボケるので独特の意匠が得られます。よく「風でブレているのですか？」と聞かれますが、ボケた結果です。

 　花車というガーベラの一種。シュッとした花びらが格好良い花です。背景を黒に抑えて花の赤が映えるようにしました。現像ではコントラストを少し調整しただけなので手順は省略します。
